The garden has lots of weeds growing. All of the focus is on the pond right now. So, therefore, the garden is getting pushed back.

The old fence from the back of my lot has been removed and now the dirt from digging is getting leveled. Everything got its spring haircut this weekend. But there are still weeds everywhere. There is a pile of yard waste shoulder high and about 8-10 feet long that came from behind the fence. That part of my garden looks nice. Its coming together! All of the palm trees and fruit trees got some care this weekend as well with some fertilizer and trimming work done.
My jak Fruit tree got some frost damage this winter, I still need to get up there and trim the dead branches out of it. But the Mango Has mangos!

I rented a bob cat and started digging. This was fun my friend came over and he got to get on there and dig also. He too thought it was fun. If I had been better at operating the machine I could have taken better advantage of this opportunity but with my skill level I still got quite a bit accomplished.

Since vacation is over its back to work and the hole is just sitting in the back yard. After work I go out and do some work but l it does seem to be slow going.

I come down with bronchitis that kicks me in the butt. And since I am a heart patient I do have to be careful and take care of my self. It will be awhile before I get back to the pond and garden.

Im back working on the pond again! There were many cave ins during my “spell” . so much more digging to do.
